Hey y’all!!! I’m SO excited to share the news about my most recent PET scan!! There were NO traces of cancer in my body!! My scan was completely clean!! God is SO good!!! I got to drop one of the chemo drugs so instead of 4 types of chemotherapy drugs, I only have to do 3 for the remaining rounds! Here’s what I’ve been learning!!

Round 5!!!

The Power of Prayer

I think this topic is very fitting considering recent news. I cannot begin to describe how thankful I am for every single person who prays for me. The Bible tells us how much power there is in our prayers especially to those who are sick. “And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up”(James 5:15). Prayer makes the sick person well, how amazing is that!!!

Prayer is our direct line of communication to our Father. What father wouldn’t want their child to talk to them? He wants to hear everything and wants us to consistently be in communication with Him. He even wants to bring our requests to Him in prayer, “do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6). He wants to hear what our requests are, and help where He can.

No prayer is too great for our God, He is the Lord of everything. “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?” (Jeremiah 32:27). When we pray, all He asks of us is to believe. If our prayer is in His will for us, He will make it happen. Nothing can stop what God has in store for us, so we must have faith in everything we pray for. “Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.” (Mark 11:24)

So I want to say again, thank you to everyone who has been praying for me. There is SO much power in prayer and I have been healed by all of your loving prayers. The fight isn’t over yet and chemo still remains very difficult for me and my body. But, I will continue to pray to the Lord for strength that we help me get through the remaining chemos and I know by His strength I will!

There is always a reason to smile!😊
