Chemo: Round 7!!!

Hey y’all!! 7 down... wow!! I’m so happy to be through 7 rounds of chemo, I can’t believe I’m finally over the hump!!

Who am I to doubt God?

I’m not going to lie, recently I have had many moments where I have wondered, “Why is this happening to me?” Sometimes I fall into a pit wondering “Why me?” I think that this mentality can get very dangerous and produce an unwelcome amount of self-pity. It can make you start feeling bad for yourself and in doing so start lacking confidence in God. In actuality, who am I to doubt God? Who am I to doubt God’s plan for me?

I like to think of life as a book (even though I’m not the biggest reader😂). Each chapter in the book are seasons in our life. In the hard seasons of our life it’s difficult to see how hardship is going to contribute to our story cause all we are experiencing is pain. But, every chapter in a book has a purpose to the overall story. Just like, every season we go through has a purpose to our life. Even though it is hard to see in the moment, sometimes the hardest seasons lead to the biggest breakthroughs and blessings. Like in a book, sometimes the toughest chapters contribute to the overall purpose of the book the most.

At the end of the day, I am in no position to doubt an Almighty God. He has a reason, he has a purpose, and there is something that will come from this even if I can’t see it now. God is one amazing author and I can’t wait to see how this chapter adds to my story.

"He who forms the mountains, who creates the wind, and who reveals his thoughts to mankind,who turns dawn to darkness, and treads on the heights of the earth—the Lord God Almighty is his name" (Amos 4:13)

Well, 7 down and 5 left!!! Can count on one hand! God is good all the time! Thank you for all the continued prayers and support, I’m so beyond thankful❤️
